In fact lady Gaga, 27, is not bizarrely wandering round in the below video, she is practising the "The Abramovic Method', a series of exercises designed to “heighten the participants’ awareness of their physical and mental experience in the present moment”.

As well as hugging a large crystal and appearing with some Pikachu ears on her face Gaga was raising money for Serbian artist Marina Abramovic's method.Abramovic's "crowd funding campaign", launched via Kickstarter, hopes to raise $600,000, and the grandmother of performing arts has already promises everyone who donates a "personal hug"

The artist is planning live events called ‘The Embrace’ in New York and Europe.
